STABBING MY OWN HEART

It seems to me that life's so cruel.

True love is present, but makes me a fool.

You are so special in my life.

Fuck! I really need to decide...

It's not easy to endure the pain

But I don't want you to wait in vain.

When I left you, I stabbed my own heart

My soul wandered around since we're apart.

The blood is flowing from the wound.

My body can't take any food.

My physique deteriorates, O God!

It's like I'm committing suicide.

I stabbed my heart though it hurts

I don't really want  to go but I must.

It would be long to ease the aching

But for now, it's time for mourning.

KAPAG NAGAGALIT SIYA, LALO KO SIYANG MINAMAHAL

"Galit ka na naman?"

Ang tanong ko sa kanya.

Di naman siya tumutugon,

Bagkus umiirap pa.

Halos apat na buwan na rin

Mula nang siya ay maging akin

Subalit ang puso ko'y humihiling

"O Diyos, nawa kami'y pagtibayin."

Madalas na ako ay kanyang awayin.

Di ko alam ang dahilan, ayaw niyang sabihin.

Pero, 'pag ganito ako'y kinikilig pa rin.

Iniibig ko siya kahit ang sinta ko'y matampuhin.

Kapag nagagalit ang aking mahal,

Lalong umiigting ang aking pagmamahal

Dahil alam ko na siya ay naghihintay lamang

Na haplusin ko ang kamay at siya ay aking hagkan.

Di man kami laging magkasundo,

Siya lamang ang laman ng aking puso.

Kapag nagagalit siya, lalo ko siyang minamahal.

Kami hanggang wakas ang aking dasal.

ELEGY FOR MY INANG

I can't think of any way to express my gratitude

To my Inang who molded my attitude.

I wasn't able to show her what I really feel.

I know it's too late because of God's will.

I wish I could bring back the time

When I could still feel the presence of my Inang

So I can tell her how much I love her

And how I appreciate her care.

On the tenth of October, the angels took her away.

Beside her coffin, I tearfully say,

"Inang ko, I love you and I always will.

I will miss you. Without you, how can I stand still?"

Because of her, I learned to value education.

She taught me to protect my name and reputation.

She gave me the most special gift from God

And that was the four- letter word , LOVE.

Now, I feel like something's missing.

I am missing my Inang Bening.

"Almighty, take good care of the woman

Who I will cherish for all time."
